As you can see the artwork is completely new in comparison to the webmanga version. The story, of course, will remain the same. I wanted to update the artwork not only to show my improved illustrating skills (the webmanga version was drawn up to 2 years ago), but also because the webmanga version just isn’t the right specifications for printing.
I finally bought a copy of Deleter’s ComicWorks. I wasn’t sure whether to get it or not; I didn’t know if I’d like it more than photoshop. I’m happy to say that I LOVE it. It’s going to really improve the look of SoS’s toning. I still use my table and Adobe Illustrator to ink the drawings though, even though you can ink straight in ComicWorks. If you have the $100 to spend, I highly recommend CW, especially if you’re working on things for print (it also has a lovely ‘save for web’ option).
That’s all for now…I’m waiting for my drafting table to get delivered so I can really start drawing away!
